Hoegerman loves sharing his adventures to far-away
places with others. He will enthusiastically lead you
to the remotest corners of Provence and Paris.
He has been leading trips to France for over a
decade; since 1996.
Born in Santa Barbara, he is the Creator and
Director of the Santa Barbara French Festival,
the largest French celebration in the Western USA.
Steve is also a published travel writer, travel
lecturer, and professional tour guide. He taught a
class on travel at SBCC Adult Education. He speaks
French, Spanish, English, and Italian. He co-founded
Le Cercle Francais and Parliamo, the French and
Italian Conversation Groups of Santa Barbara.
He has extensively explored the remotest regions of
Europe (particularly Provence, France), Mexico,
Morocco and the South Pacific, travelling by boat,
bus, donkey, thumb and foot.
Steve is married to a lovely French woman that he met
